It all began with a personal experience. When I hired contractors for my own home renovation, what should have been an exciting project quickly turned into a nightmare — delays, miscommunication, and poor workmanship left me frustrated. That’s when I decided to take matters into my own hands.
Determined to do better, I pursued formal education and earned multiple licences in the construction field, including HCRA certification, while also holding a Master’s degree in Computer Science. My background working with Fortune 500 companies refined my technical precision, project management discipline, and results-driven mindset — qualities that now define how every project at MJ Ontario Constructions is delivered.
As a licensed Realtor®, I bring an additional layer of expertise that benefits every client. His expertise helped us save a significant amount of money by demonstrating relevant OBC guidelines to the city's building official, which avoided the need to remove bathroom walls.
We had pulled a permit for the basement ADU, and Manjeet took charge of scheduling inspections and worked seamlessly with the City of Windsor inspectors, ensuring that all inspections were passed without any issues. He interacted with the city several times regarding the permit, making sure that only the necessary work was done and that it was done correctly. He remained committed and focused until the very end, accommodating city inspection comments patiently until we received our occupancy permit.
Moreover, I have referred Manjeet to three of my friends, and each one of them has been just as happy with his work as I am. This consistency in delivering exceptional service speaks volumes about his professionalism and dedication. He also made sure to engage the right licensed trades for electrical, plumbing, and other critical work, ensuring everything was done to the highest standard.
